My question is that when I create new generations, when I have made one new generation and then multiple trims of that base model when it comes time to make the new generations do I simply create new generations of each trim line or start the whole process over (hopefully that makes sense)? Currently when I try to create a new generation using an existing trim line, it almost makes it seem like I'm creating a new model as opposed to a new trim line. Basically following the concept of Toyota/Lexus. For example, if your base model's material costs are 1,000 and you set the sale price to 1,500, then if your trim's material costs are 2,000, the game will automatically assign it a 3,000 sales price. For example, base model, LE model (more luxury), XLE (even more luxury) and then multiple models of my actual luxury brand. If you make price changes to the base model, it will change the price of the trims based on the percentage difference over material costs. My plan is that beginning in 1980 I will flood the market with multiple trim levels of every vehicle I make. The New Generation and Replace button (3) will do the same, except it will also replace the old design with the new design in all factories and branches.
